Mixed with a carrier oil, Eucalyptus can be used as a liniment for
arthritis, rheumatism, backaches, and muscle aches. Wash the affected
area with warm water. Massage well for about one minute and then
apply a light amount of the Eucalyptus blend.
For sinus, sinus headache, hay fever, colds, and head congestion,
sprinkle a few drops of Eucalyptus on a damp cloth and hold it close to
the nose while you breathe in through the nose and exhale through the
mouth. Do this for about a minute.
Apply directly on insect bites and repeat as necessary to stop itching.
Remember to mix with a carrier oil first.
Eucalyptus makes an excellent foot bath for sore feet. Use a teaspoon of
oil in a tub of warm water and soak for almost instant relief.
Eucalyptus works with emu or sweet almond oil as a massage for upper
and lower back pain, sore muscles, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and the like.
Eucalyptus has been used successfully from as early as 1789.
